Upon entering Magnolia Gardens, you are greeted by a spacious living room area, complete with plush couches and a large, flat-screen television. Here, our residents come to meet together or receive visitors. From the living room, the open floor plan affords a view of the family-style dining area, where residents’ are served their home-cooked meals, to the open kitchen where meals are lovingly prepared, to the gardens through the sliding glass doors.
Kitchen & Dining
Frank Russo, owner of Magnolia Gardens in Venice, Florida, is a third generation in the restaurant industry. Cooking is something that, for him, is second nature. His 45 years in restaurant hospitality taught him, among others, the three key ingredients for a successful eatery – service, good food and ambiance. All three of these ingredients, he implemented at Magnolia Gardens.
Magnolia Gardens features a fully serviceable kitchen where the caregivers craft delicious, healthful, and highly personalized meals for the residents at Magnolia Gardens. Another restaurant industry secret – your meals will only come out as good as the ingredients that go into them. That is why our meals feature fresh vegetables and herbs, some of them grown right here at Magnolia Gardens. The raised garden boxes containing these vegetables and herbs are even tended by the residents, as an activity that they enjoy.
Our assisted living home features a fully-equipped handicapped bathroom. It features extra-large doors and a wheelchair-accessible, beautifully tiled, double-head shower. The bathroom also offers a comfortable workstation for our caregivers, allowing them to better serve our residents’ needs.
